Anti Cables

Anti-Cables by Paul Speltz are sonically transparent and neutral cables. They virtually eliminate the most common source that give speaker cable their sonic signature: the plastic dielectric material. Beyond the extremely thin red coating, there is nothing left but air, and air is a near ideal insulation dielectric because it causes virtually no dielectric effect! Bladelius Design Group

The Beowulf monaural amplifier is a milestone in amplifier design. The Beowulf is two power amplifiers in one chassis. One amplifier section, based on bipolar power devices, is optimized to handle low-frequency information, while the other amplifier section, based on MOSFET power devices, is optimized to handle high-frequency information. Normally this is impossible, but thanks to a very careful matching of power devices in time domain, timbre, and tonal balance, the Beowulf handles the changeover from the low-frequency amplifier section to the high-frequency section without any audible problems. The combination of bi-polar and MOSFET power devices in one chassis has never been realised before, and creates great advantages in music reproduction, especially in the control of bi-wired or bi-amplified speaker systems

Air is the carrier of sound waves. If not hermetically sealed off by air locks, all the rooms, nooks, crannies and closets in a house including the refrigerator, oven and all furniture with doors communicate with each through the air. Traditional heavy damping can absorb excess acoustic energies. But such damping also tends to kill off the finest harmonics, dumbs down the performers' tone modulations and dries out harmonic textures. Overdamping further undermines the swing of free timing. If one addresses air disturbances directly (primary causes are the loudspeakers and how they interact with a room's geometry), the quality of sound propagating through the air improves automatically. This is a direct cause/effect result and our acoustic resonator technology strategically exploits it. The acoustic resonators are small but powerful tools for room tuning, noise reduction and to minimize air turbulences. Very small adjustments in how high or low the resonators are mounted and how their wings are turned relative to the listener can have surprisingly powerful effects on soundstage focus, virtual stage width and depth, bass clarity, treble extension and more.

Vitus Audio

Hans-Ole Vitus (founder) and Anders Grove (co-founder) had worked closely together for over 10 years on numerous audio projects and creating Vitus Audio was the logical step to bring their novel ideas to the audiophile market. Hans Ole Vitus, a dedicated audiophile, spent all his spare time in the last 25 years analyzing and improving upon other manufacturers’ products, as well as developing his own original designs. An electronics engineer by training and at one time worked for Texas Instruments Nordic, he is in charge of all the electronic design and development of many highly custom designed components used throughout Vitus Audio’s product line. He is also responsible for the entire production and assembly process for both electronics and cables.

The other half of the Vitus team, Anders Grove, also has more than 20 years experience of working with high end audio principally speakers and cables. Anders is the founder of Argento Audio, a company well known for producing extremely high performance audio cables. He left Argento in 2005 to joined Vitus Audio.
